On 30 June 2016, the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments and the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds signed a Financing Agreement for the implementation of financial instruments under the Operational Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion” 2014-2020.
Based on the above, HAMAG-BICRO launched calls for the ESIF Micro and Small Loan Programs. The ESIF Micro Loans program is divided into Micro Investment Loans and Micro Working Capital Loans programs and the program is intended for micro and small entrepreneurs.
The ESIF Small Loans program is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
Financial instruments help to mobilize additional public and/or private sources of funding in order to address market failures. Given the current economic situation and the growing scarcity of public resources, financial instruments are expected to play an even more significant role in the future
Loans for Rural Development
On 18 April 2018, the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments, Ministry of Agriculture and the Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development signed the Financing Agreement for financial instruments implementation within the Rural Development Program of the Republic of Croatia for the period 2014-2020.
Based on the above, HAMAG-BICRO launched calls for the financial instruments Micro and Small Loans for Rural Development.

The financial instrument Small Loans for Rural Development is intended for micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the agricultural, processing and forestry sectors.
