Vjeran-Vrbanec

Vjeran Vrbanec took over the position of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of HAMAG-BICRO in May 2016. The law graduate came to the Agency from the position of the Head of the Administrative Department in Međimurje County, where he previously headed the legal service.

He was the Chairman of the Governing Council of Dr. Rudolf Steiner Centre and member of the Governing Council of Međimurje Museum Čakovec and the Governing Council of Čakovec Pharmacies. In April 2004, he passed the Bar Exam before the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia. Vrbanec received his academic education at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, after which he worked in the real sector for several years.

Ante-Janko-Bobetko

Ante-Janko Bobetko was appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors in July 2021, after serving as a member of the Board of Directors for two years. He gratuated in business economics at the University of Zagreb. Through his work and experience, he has gained specific knowledge and skills in the field of creating development programs intended for the development of entrepreneurship, which include: developing strategies, laws, aid schemes, lending and the use of all forms of aid from national and EU funds.

From 2016 to 2019 , Bobetko has been the Assistant Director of the Zagreb Innovation Centre, where he participated in the preparation and implementation of projects, creation of entreprenurial programs and building of entreprenurial infrastructure intended for the innovation of ecosystem's development.

Marijana-Oreb

Marijana Oreb became a member of the Board of Directors in May 2016 from the position of the Director of the Financial Instruments Division of HAMAG-BICRO, the position she held since 2010.

She gained significant experience in financial portfolio management as an Assistant to the Management Board member and in sales of Hypo-Leasing Kroatien d.o.o., where she spent eight years. She obtained experience in the real sector immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Trade in Dubrovnik. Afterwards, she achieved the title of university specialist at the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka where she is currently attending postgraduate PhD study in Business Economy. Oreb focuses its business interest today on financial management and control of EU funds.

Since October 2019, Oreb has become a member of the Board of the leading European Association of Guarantee Institutions (AECM), and from 2021. she was promoted to Vice-President for the area of statistics and financial impact on the EU market.

In February 2022, Oreb joined Euro-mediterranean guarantee network (EMGN) and became the memeber of the Steering Commettee of this renowned association.

zelimir-kramaric

Želimir Kramarić is a member of the Board of Directors since February 2022. Previously, he worked at the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia as Head of Sector for the European Affairs and International Cooperation. He has many years of experience working in various management positions in the public and private sectors. After completing his studies in Economics, and the international postgraduate MBA study programme in Business Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, he gained his first work experience in the business sector.

Initially, he worked on the implementation of large construction investment projects abroad, then in finance and business audit and as an economic consultant. After that, he worked in the public sector as Head of the State Protocol of the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia and Ambassador at Large and graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. He then returned to the business sector as President of the Management Board of the Inter-Continental Hotel (Westin) Zagreb and after was appointed Assistant Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia. After that he worked at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce as Vice President for International Cooperation and the EU, and later acted as Assistant Director of the Zagreb Development Agency for EU Funds. He also worked as a business consultant in the field of EU funds and programs for various beneficiaries. From the beginning, he was part of the negotiating team during the accession process to the European Union and was responsible for EU policies, programmes and projects.
